Biography

As the son of the esteemed Dr. Jane Foster, Lukas grew up exposed to the sciences of the skies from a very early age. Throughout his developing years, the boy demonstrated a knack for discovery as much as one for an inherent, innocent devilry; this also caused the boy to find himself in one too many predicaments during school hours.

As his mother, Jane Foster, had always been wary of the boy's physiology since birth, but when no signs of anything pertaining to an understandable anomaly surfaced, it was assumed that young Foster was normal. That notion, however, quickly changed as it was noted that the boy's rate of growth was a more speedy one than those of regular children. Attributing this to the child's inheritance, Jane Foster kept a close eye for any other coming changes.

During his early teenage years, particularly at the end of his thirteenth, Lukas began to exhibit an uncanny intolerance towards heat, resulting in numerous fainting spells and vast dehydration episodes all which were attributed to the unforgiving Summer heat--albeit, Jane Foster's suspicions had begun to quietly fester.

However, it wasn't until a vacation related trip to Arizona, that both his mother and best friend, Darcy Lewis, discovered that upon fainting (due to the heat) Lukas' skin color had turned a rare shade of blue. Efforts to restore the boy to what had been known as his normal state were taken, only to reveal the color of his skin remained unchanged. After his body temperature had been considerably dropped to a degree matching that of an ice cube, the hue of rare blue began to wane, as did the ruby tint that had covered his eyes.

Left with an unpleasant feeling following the event, Lukas learned of his true parentage. And how the fact had been kept from Jane Foster's superiors. He was the son of Loki Laufeyson; God of Mischief and Lies. The son of a Jotun; a Frostgiant.

It required a considerable amount of time and effort for the truth to sink in; how long before he was born, Jane Foster—a considerable novice in the field of astrophysics—was swept off her feet by a stranger keenly interested in what the Stars had to offer, as well as the exploration of human sentimentalism. Unbeknownst to her, Jane had fallen prey to yet another heartless conquest conducted by the prime Liesmith himself—an elaborate ruse set on the promise the defeated God had made his brother in regards to the woman he had become emotionally attached to, therefore, after what she believed to be a night of true love, she never heard from the man again...

...until Loki returned to Earth (Midgard) for what was later classified as the New York Incident which claimed countless lives, bringing the city citizens close to complete annihilation had it not been for the heroic efforts of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, The Avengers.

Learning the truth devastated Foster but with the help of her greatest mentor, Erik Selvig, and best friend, Darcy Lewis, she came to accept the fact and simply move on, even going as far as giving the possibility of love a second chance when time suited her.

Though Lukas does not audibly voice it, clear resentment shows upon the mention of his father’s name.

Dealing with the situation did not become any easier, as by the end of his fifteenth year, small amounts of energy began to surge through his veins. And though most he had learned to control, others resulted in small mishaps that earned him the label of a clumsy geek in school. As a protective measure, Jane did not take Lukas with her on a job related trip to London thinking it would be best for him to not miss school and fall behind. The boy had been reluctant to stay, but he did, as he stayed under the care of a trusted friend, Tony Stark, whom, with the passing of time, became a father figure to the boy.

The events that followed halfway across the world, as well as the entire Realm reached the boy's ears but for his mother's sake, all he focused on was his mother and friend's well being.

Since then, Loki has not been heard of from~

Presently, Lukas lives with his mother in New York, where he awaits to graduate from his Senior year of high-school, attending the Charles Xavier School For The Gifted.

Family Life

Since birth, Lukas was welcomed into the loving arms of those around him. Though unconventional, the boy was brought up within the walls of a busy home. Due to the nature of Dr. Foster's work, while out traveling, Lukas was left under the care of Pepper Potts and Tony Stark; a man who has been the closest thing to a father for the boy. Darcy Lewis—Foster's intern—had also a hand in raising the boy.

School Life

During the later half of his junior year, Lukas had been an attendee at a local, public school in New York. However, after an incident regarding his abilities, Lukas was enrolled at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters at the behest of his mother. The idea did not sit well with Foster at first, however, towards the end of his sophomore year his opinion on the matter greatly changed as he was able to settle in and make friends.

Other Personality Traits and Preferences

Food

1. Curly fries are his absolute favorite.
2. When it comes to pizza, pineapple toppings are a must.
3. His go-to comfort snack consists of scoops of ice cream sandwiched between two oven-toasted Pop-Tarts.
4. Chewing gum calms him down when anxious; Hubba-Bubba is a personal favorite.
5. In his opinion, cake batter tastes better than the actual cake.
6. Root beer and Coca-Cola are life.
7. Can eat an entire, family-sized bag of Cool Ranch Doritos.


Clothing

1. Jeans—or any form of pants for that matter—should not cut off one's circulation.
2. Flannel shirts = YES.
3. Owns a Batman printed tee he likes to wear just to tease Tony Stark.
4. Will always wear sneakers unless completely necessary to be more formal.

Personality

1. Is the protective type.
2. He loves telling jokes, as well as making puns.
3. Hates Flappy Bird, however he can't seem to stop playing it sometimes.
4. Loves Crash Bandicoot and wholeheartedly believes it to be the greatest game of all time.
5. Cannot stand lies, nor liars.
6. His favorite all time movie is Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope. His favorite movie characters are Han Solo and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Powers and Abilities

Due to the boy's parentage, Lukas posses the ability to manipulate certain types of energy, as well as magic, such as Cold Energy Manipulation, Magical Energy Generation, and (some) aspects of Teleportation.

Applications

1. Cold Energy Manipulation:
This is the ability to manipulate extremely cold energy, also called Cryogenic, Freezing, Ice-Sub-Zero Energy Manipulation. In this case, Lukas is capable of freezing anything he comes into physical contact with. A sub-power to this would be Frostbite (also known as Congelatikinesis,) which grants the ability to freeze any organic form, inducing rigor mortis.

2. Magical Energy Generation:
This is the ability to generate, create, shape and manipulate magical energy to use magic for a variety of effects and purposes. It also includes the generation of energy fields and the solidification of it.

3. Teleportation:
This is ability to move instantaneously from one location to another without physically occupying the space between via Instant Transmission (or an Energy Reading) meaning, that the teleportation can only take place if a source of energy (magic) is found either by sense or touch. At its Advanced Level, Lukas is capable of teleporting long distances, (from one side of a field to another, or a few kilometers or so.) However, at said Level, he is limited to amount of mass, people and items he can take along.

1. Cold Energy Manipulation:
⊷ May be unusable near strong sources of heat.

2. Magical Energy Generation:
⊷ May often drain a person's stamina.
⊷ May be defeated by superiority in the arts.
⊷ May be unpredictable at times, resulting in either an annoyance or complete destruction.
⊷ Any act of energetic solidification may be rendered useless against superior attacks, or their time in activation may be limited.

3. Teleportation:
⊷ Stress may hinder ability.
⊷ May not be able to teleport other teleporters due to a spatial contradiction.
⊷ May be required to know the area they are teleporting to in order to teleport properly.
⊷ The over-use of power may cause serious damage or even death.
⊷ If facing a highly sensitive opponent, the spatial disturbance can lead to the enemy successfully tracking them.

Relationships

Family and Friends

Over the course of time, Lukas has become acquainted with several people━humans, mutants, and heroes alike━however, very few have stood the test of time long enough to become friends, or even family.

Family

⊷ Jane Foster - Words cannot begin to describe just how much Lukas loves his mother. Since his birth, the young woman has gone above and beyond to ensure that her son is safe, happy and loved. And although at times their opinions clash, it is their undeniably strong bond that keeps them grounded.

⊷ Loki Laufeyson - After his romantic encounter with Jane Foster, the chaotic deity has made no attempts at contacting the heartbroken woman. While wreaking havoc over New York, his actions were seen by the entire world, the Foster family included, however, his and Jane's path did not cross until the events that took place while the astrophysicist was halfway across the globe in London. Since then, neither of them have spoken, resulting in his furthered absence from Lukas' life. Due to the fact, and all that has transpired prior and after his birth, Lukas wants nothing to do with him.

⊷ Thor Odinson - Despite the fact that he and Loki share in no true blood ties, they still very much consider one another as brothers, and so, as such, Thor is━to an extent━Lukas' uncle. Their meetings have been brief, yet, he and the boy have had time to forge a somewhat steady relationship, mostly in part due to the fact that Thor cares very much for his mother.

Friends

⊷ Tony Stark - For as long as he can recall, Lukas has been under the fatherly wings of the world famous Avenger, Iron Man. The two often bond while tinkering their spare time away in Tony's pristine lab.

⊷ Pepper Potts - Although Lukas has a very close relationship with Tony Stark, it was Pepper Potts whom he met first. While away for work in London, the young boy was left under the care of the woman, and as a result, the two grew close.

⊷ Darcy Lewis - Throughout the heartbreak and pregnancy, Jane Foster's intern proved to be an immense source of comfort for the woman. After his birth, Lewis helped with Lukas' upbringing, making sure to educate the young little man in all things pop-culture and music, earning her the title, of not only friend, but also of 'the unofficial, official aunt.'

⊷ Erik Selvig - After the death of Jane Foster's father, Erik Selvig took the young astrophysicist under his wing, thus becoming a parental figure for the young woman. While pregnant, Selvig was there to aid in any way possible, and after Lukas' birth, the man continued to show support, both emotionally and financially as it was him that helped both, mother and son, to acquire a more suitable living arrangement. Though there is no blood relation between them, in Lukas' eyes, the man is, and always will be, his grandfather.

⊷ Maddison Danvers - After a chance encounter at school, and a short quest to find the blonde's missing feline friend, the two became great friends. Aware of Lukas' love for curly fries, the sweet girl is no stranger to spoiling him rotten with the fried "delicacy."

⊷ Wanda Maximoff - Although their initial interactions began with chaos and tragedy, the two were able to combine forces and defeat a common foe. As mutual users of what the rest of the world considers to be an occult form of energy, both Foster and Maximoff have learned to find the beauty in what they each posses. Since then, Lukas has looked up to The Scarlet Witch, acknowledging her as one of his dearest friends, and mentors.

⊷ Alice Spencer - After meeting while both had been sent to detention, the two became the best of friends; inseparable, the pair is no stranger to sneaking out for a stroll, ice-cream and french fries.

⊷ Michael Miller - Though both are polar opposites when it comes down to their abilities and personality, they share in their distaste for bullies. With Lukas being the first one he met after arriving at the Xavier's School for for Gifted Youngsters, the two spend time together, mostly during the classes they share.
